Overview

AI Image Detector ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our AI image detection service at ai-image-detector.ai (the "Service").

Images You Upload

When you upload an image for AI detection analysis, the image is processed in real-time server memory and is immediately discarded after analysis is complete. We do not store, save, cache, log, or retain any uploaded images. Images are transmitted securely via HTTPS encryption and are never accessible to any third party. We do not use uploaded images for model training or any other purpose beyond providing your detection result.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal anonymous analytics to operate and improve the Service. This includes: aggregate scan counts (total number of analyses performed per day), geographic distribution of requests at the country level (derived from IP addresses, which are not stored), HTTP referrer information, and basic device/browser category (mobile vs. desktop). We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information through normal use of the Service.

Rate Limiting

To prevent abuse, we implement rate limiting based on hashed, anonymized identifiers derived from your IP address. These rate limit counters are stored temporarily (24-hour expiry) in Cloudflare KV and contain no personally identifiable information — only a cryptographic hash and a scan count. They cannot be reversed to determine your IP address.

Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies. We do not use any third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics), or any other form of user tracking. The Service contains no third-party JavaScript whatsoever.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses Cloudflare Workers for hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare's infrastructure is subject to Cloudflare's own privacy policy. For API analysis, images are transmitted to our detection backend over an encrypted connection; the backend processes images in memory and does not retain them. We do not share any user data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Data Security

All data transmission occurs over HTTPS/TLS. We implement Content Security Policy headers, Strict Transport Security (HSTS), and other security headers to protect against common web vulnerabilities. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global network, which provides DDoS protection and enterprise-grade security.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we collect no personal information from any users, this risk is inherently mitigated.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
