Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Image Detector at ai-image-detector.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Service Description

AI Image Detector provides an AI-powered image analysis tool that estimates the probability of an image being generated by artificial intelligence. The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use up to 25 scans per day. API access for commercial and high-volume use is available under separate terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls; use automated scripts to submit bulk analyses without API authorization; upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the detection model or its weights; use the Service to develop a competing product; or misrepresent the Service's results as definitive legal or forensic evidence.

Accuracy Disclaimer

AI image detection is a probabilistic analysis, not a definitive determination. While our model achieves over 95% accuracy on standard benchmarks, results should be treated as one signal among many. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of detection results. The Service should not be used as the sole basis for legal proceedings, employment decisions, academic disciplinary actions, or other consequential determinations without independent verification.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of AI Image Detector and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to images you upload; we claim no ownership or license over your content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Image Detector shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from incorrect detection results, service interruptions, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (which, for the free tier, is zero).

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.

Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
